Derek Price is the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Construction for North America. He joined Pattern in 2013, where he has overseen engineering, preconstruction, and construction. Over the course of his career, he has worked on more than 30 renewable energy facilities with a combined output of about four gigawatts.
In his current role, Derek is overseeing preconstruction planning for over five gigawatts of new wind and solar renewable energy projects and around 1,050 miles of new high-voltage transmission line that is planned to commence construction for Pattern over the next 2-3 years, including the flagship SunZia and Southern Spirit Transmission Projects.
Derek holds a BS in construction management and business administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
