Christian Hackett

Christian serves as Chief Investment Officer of Pattern Energy. Prior to his appointment, Christian was Vice President, Finance – Head of Corporate Development at Pattern and was responsible for co-leading Pattern’s Finance Execution team of M&A and project finance professionals. He has been with Pattern Energy since its founding in 2009. Prior to joining Pattern Energy, Christian worked for Babcock & Brown’s North American energy business, where he focused on the origination and execution of investments in the renewable energy and transmission sectors. Before that, he worked for Enron as a Director, serving around the world in numerous corporate development and origination roles. Christian holds an MBA in finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Laws and Commerce from the University of Queensland.
